In July 2014, total online advertising spend of banking service brands exceeded RMB74.98 million (US$12.21 million) in China.
Among all the banking service brands, China Communication Bank spent RMB19.36 million ($3.15 million) in online advertising in July, ranking first, followed by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Construction Bank according to data from iResearch.
Web portal,online video platforms, and finance vertical websites are the top three ad placement channels for banking service companies in China in July 2014. The advertising spend on web portals exceeded RMB46.59 million (US$7.5 million), accounting for 62.1% of the total spend, followed by online video (13.4%) and finance website (10.3%).
