China e-commerce total transactions reached RMB2.83 trillion (US$460 billion) in the second quarter this year, a QoQ growth rate of 7.1% and YoY growth rate of 19.9%.
China e-commerce market last year‘s total transaction reached RMB10 trillion, an increase of 24.9%, in which online shopping represented 18.9%:

China’s e-commerce market’s growth is primarily driven by online shopping, which is estimated to represent 22.2% of total e-commerce transactions in Q2 2014 according to iResearch data:
Kantar Worldpanel reports that the China e-commerce channel penetration has now reached 32% in latest 52 weeks up to June 13th 2014, a growth of +44% compared to 2 years ago.
