iResearch announced its China mobile internet 2013 development report on November 18 2013 at China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen, that China mobile internet market reached 165.04 billion yuan (USD 26.92 billion) with YoY increase of 94.1% in 2013.
Smartphone has become more and more important in daily life and it has changed our life in many aspects. According to iResearch, in the first half of 2013, Chinese mobile internet users surpassed 500 million. It’s anticipated to reach 570 million by the end of 2013. Chinese mobile internet users grew close to the number of PC internet users, it would surpass PC internet users in first quarter of 2014 to be the top device of accessing internet.
In Q3 2013, China smartphone sales reached 82.17 million, increasing 64% more than that of 2012. Samsung was still the market leader, but it faced customer service and mobile quality problems. Apple launched its new products in China this year, and it began cooperation with China Mobile. Xiaomi was the leader of Chinese manufacturers, followed by ZTE, Huawei, Coolpad and Lenovo.
In mobile game market, Chinese mobile game market reached 5.87 billion yuan (USD 957 million) in 2012. It’s expected to hit 12.25 billion yuan (USD 1.20 billion) in 2013.
