According to iResearch, China mobile internet market reached 27.87 billion yuan (USD 4.54 billion), with a 66.7% YoY increase in Q3 2013.
In 2013, China mobile internet market has been growing dynamically. Mobile internet users kept a fast growing rate, more and more users focused on mobile-end. Besides, telecom companies promoted cheap data plans offering a matured business environment. And traditional internet companies put more effort on developing mobile-end market.
In Q3, mobile shopping ranked the top with largest market share of 37.2%, followed by mobile value added service. Mobile games occupied 12.8% market share, with 22.3% QoQ increase and a 74.6% YoY increase. It was one of the fastest growing mobile segment markets. With the popularity of smartphones, mobile games gradually became the main entertainment of smartphone users. Besides, mobile search increased by 2.1% in Q3, reaching 5.3%. Mobile marketing had 10.7% share, growing a little bit.
