According to EnfoDesk, China online third-party payment (enterprises) in Q3 2013 reached 1.51 trillion yuan (USD 245.99 billion), with a QoQ increase of 12.5% and a YoY increase of 54.6%.
At the beginning of online third-party payment, enterprises mainly used for its own transactions. After WTO, online third-party payment platforms was opened to non-financial companies. Therefore, the chart above analysis the online third-party payment from the view of enterprises, and the chart below analysis from the view of banks which cooperated with third-party enterprises.
In Q3 2013, China online third-party payment (banks) reached 1.67 trillion yuan (USD 271.49 billion), 16% more than last quarter. Online third-party payment in air-booking and travel industries kept increasing in Q3, due to the peak of summer vacations. Besides, Yu’E Bao money fund dramatic growth drove the increase of online third-party payment transactions, and it was expected to keep growing in Q4 2013.
