Kantar Worldpanel released its quarter two Consumers Insights 2013 Asia on September 20, 2013. It showed the changes and development of FMCG market.
In Q2 2013, FMCG in totoal had a 9.4% YoY increase, during which beverages had the highest growth rate of 12.1%.
Compared to 2012, growth rate of middle income families fell below 0.5% in Q2 2013.
Top 10 fastest growing products in China were function drink, mint candy, coco confectionary, coffee, cereal, frozen food, tea, instant soup, chewing gum and RTD coffee.
