According to Taobao and other distribution channels, Nokia’s market share by volume was over 10% in September 2013. In 2013, Lumia series sold out 4.4 million in quarter one, 5.6 million in quarter two, and 7.2 million in quarter three.

However, the market prospect is still not promising. How Nokia would compete with Samsung and iPhone in cities such as Shenzhen remains a question. In low price smartphone market, Chinese manufacturers are very competitive.
In 2012, Nokia hit lower bottom. Later, it began bouncing up. WP 8 operating system became mature, and Nokia built up its product line. WP 8 market share is still very small, but it has the potential to grow in the future. In 2013, Nokia’s performance was generally higher than expectation.
