iResearch statistical report showed that China online travel market scale reached 50.9 billion yuan (8.25 billion USD) in Q2 2013, and OTA revenue was 2.67 billion yuan(433 million USD).
Although the second quarter of the year is the slack season of travel market, online travel market growing speed was still very fast, with 29% YoY increase. QoQ increase was relatively slow, only 4.1% more than Q1.
OTA revenue kept a fast growing rate,with 22.8 YoY increase. But due to price war and other factors, OTA revenue didn’t grow as fast as market scale.
