The total monthly unique audience accessing the internet via mobile devices was 1,347 million as of December 2018, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year. That roughly counts as much as three times visitors across the desktop.
On average, each internet user spent 186.84 minutes on mobile devices every day (enough time to watch four episodes of a TV show, which was 2.3 times more than that of desktop usage duration (81.95 minutes). The competition for acquiring more users has been shifted to a compete for usage duration.
