Mobile will become China’s largest advertising spend channel according to eMarketer. About 60% media spend will be on mobile platforms by 2021, accounting for 82% of total online advertising spend.

The fast growth of mobile advertising spend in China is mainly driven by Baidu, Alibaba, and Tencent; the combined ad spend will account for 72% of total mobile ad spend in 2017.
China online advertising spend will grow by 27% to exceed US$50 billion in 2017, accounting for about 60% of total paid media advertisement.
The total online video ad spend will grow by 35.8% to exceed US$7.8 billion, accounting for about 15.5% of total online ad spend in 2017.
Alibaba is estimated to generate US$16.04 billion advertising revenues in 2017, accounting for 31.9% of total online ad revenues in China. Tencent will grow its ad revenues by 59.1% to reach US$6.02 billion, according to eMarketer. Baidu will grow by 14.4% to reach US$9.31 billion ad revenues.
