China digital ad spend is to reach USD 41.66 billion in 2016, accounting for over 20% of global’s total digital ad spend according to eMarketer.
Baidu Alibaba and Tencent, or BAT for short, remain the top three by digital ad revenues. Alibaba’s ad revenues will exceed USD 12 billion and surpass Baidu this year, accounting for over one-quarter of China’s digital ad market.
Alibaba’s mobile ad revenues will reach USD 11.1 billion this year and reach USD 20 billion by 2018. Tencent’s mobile ad revenues will surpass Baidu by 2018.
