China’s CPI grew 2.2% in June, down from May’s 3.0%, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
China’s exports rose 11.3% year-on-year to $180.21 billion in June, slowing from the 15.3% in May, and imports up 6.3% to $148.48 billion.
China’s PPI, a main gauge of inflation at the wholesale level, fell 2.1% in June from a year earlier. PMI fell to a seven-month low of 50.2 in June, compounding concerns over further slowing of China’s economy.
