Over one third of China tablet users’s monthly salary is between 3,001 and 5,000 yuan. Those making less than this amount was only about one quarter of all users.
On average, Android tablet users in China tend to install more apps.
The most popular tablet app categories in China are video, followed by social networking, music, shopping and gaming. If you ever visited China, it’s common to see a few watching videos in subway trains.
QQ, Qzone and WeChat are the top social apps on Chinese users’ tablets.
81.2% China tablet users use it on online shopping; 47.3% and 44.3% on location and travel news searches respectively.
It’s not a surprise “watching videos” is the top entertainment among tablet users in China.
China will be the top country by total number of tablet users in 2015, with more than 328 million residents using tablets at least once per month, which is almost one-third of the world’s total according to eMarketer.
