China e-commerce is developing rapidly nowadays and it will account for 18% of the total retail sales in 2018, up from 8% in 2013, estimated by Morgan Stanley.
Wanggou.com is the online shopping website of JD which had 98,431 thousand unique visitors in 2014, ranking third among China major online retailers.
The growth rate of China online B2C retail market is 3 times higher than overall China retail market. By 2018, half of the revenue of China online retail market will come from tier-3 & lower cities, estimated by Bain & Company.

Alipay had total unique visitors of 151,793 thousand in 2014 in China, ranking top among China major e-commerce payment brands, followed by China Economic Net and ICBC.
Till 16 October in China, total number of Alipay Wallet’s (Alipay’s mobile payment app which is now an independent brand) active users exceeded 190 million and the daily mobile payment transaction volume exceeded 45 million, accounting for more than 50% of total Alipay transactions.
